Is pricing the be all to end all in listing and selling a house?
  • When we list a house for sale, how well do we counsel our sellers. Our CMA shows that their house "should" sell for a market price. What happens when it doesn't? When you ask for a price reduction, do you have the documentation to show that the market has changed in the last 30, 60, 90 days, i.e. showing comments stating that the potential buyers felt the price was too high, an updated CMA showing that the values have changed, neighborhood news articles on the state of the real estate market for that location, etc. What do you do that works?
